Have been to China four times but never ate at the famous Peking Duck restaurant til this trip. Have to say the little pancakes, scallions, plum sauce and duck were delish but after being indoctrinated to the evils of animal fat I was just barely able to forget it while I could feel all the grease oozing out as I crunch down on the yummy duck skin. The service was excellent and watching the duck sliced right before you was quite a show. I can't complain about the service or food. I can just hope it didn't take 3 years off my life.
ps. If you can skip the duck soup, go ahead. It just adds to the bill and is quite bland.
